Because the most meaningful photographs aren’t manufactured. They’re lived.
I create space. Space to wander. Space to settle. Space to be. Whether it’s a wedding day or an ordinary afternoon you want to remember, my approach stays the same — intuitive, intentional, deeply considered, and rooted in connection.
SOUTH COAST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
TILLY ROBERTS PHOTO
A WEDDING & LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER DOCUMENTING LOVE AND LIFE WITH REVERENCE AND INTENTION. CRAFTING TIMELESS, HEIRLOOM IMAGERY FULL OF SOUL AND STORY
For couples drawn to salt air, soft light, and days that unfold slowly
There’s a different kind of ease on the South Coast — the kind that settles in as soon as you hear the waves and feel the breeze on your skin. Weddings here don’t feel rushed or overproduced. They feel open, grounded, and quietly joyful.
I’m Tilly, the photographer behind Tilly Roberts Photo. I photograph South Coast weddings for couples who want their day to feel relaxed and deeply personal — less about performance, more about presence.
Not overly posed. Not tightly controlled.
Just artful, whimsical imagery that reflects how it truly felt to be there.
Why the South Coast suits my style so naturally
South Coast weddings hold this beautiful mix of movement and calm — ocean winds, golden evening light, wide-open spaces that invite you to breathe and slow down.
That’s how I photograph.
I don’t arrive with a rigid checklist or a series of poses to work through. I arrive ready to notice — the way you brush sand from each other’s hands, the quiet pauses between laughter, the way the day softens as the sun begins to dip.
I’ll guide you when you need it, gently and without pressure, but I’m never there to choreograph something that doesn’t feel like you.
I create space.
Space to wander.
Space to be held in the moment.
Space to actually live your wedding day while I preserve it.
South Coast wedding settings I love
From barefoot beach ceremonies to coastal gardens and relaxed seaside venues, the South Coast offers so many backdrops for couples wanting something immersive and unforced.
Whether you’re planning:
A barefoot ceremony on the sand
A coastal property celebration with ocean views
A relaxed garden wedding near the water
Or an intimate seaside elopement at sunrise or sunset
I photograph weddings across the coastline and understand how quickly the light, tide, and weather can shift — which means I’m always adapting quietly behind the scenes so you don’t have to think about it.
My approach on a South Coast wedding day
Coastal weddings move with their own rhythm. The breeze, the tide, the light — everything is in motion.
So I work with the day, not against it.
I’ll gently suggest the best windows for portraits based on the light and location, but I’ll never pull you away from meaningful moments just to chase a perfectly staged image. If the wind picks up, we lean into the movement. If the sky turns soft and overcast, we embrace the mood. If the sunset is fleeting, we use it intuitively rather than forcing a timeline around it.
The result is a gallery that feels effortless and deeply connected to place — not a version of the day that was moulded to fit a formula.
For couples who value feeling over perfection
You’ll probably feel at home working with me if:
You’re drawn to coastal settings and open spaces
You love imagery that feels soft, soulful, and artful
You want gentle direction, not rigid posing
You care more about connection than control
You want to actually experience your wedding day, not perform for it
South Coast weddings naturally invite this slower, more present energy — and that’s where the most meaningful photographs live.
Planning your South Coast wedding
The coast is beautiful, but it does have its own rhythms — tides, wind, shifting light, and travel between locations. I help my couples think through these details early so the day flows smoothly while still feeling relaxed and spacious.
You don’t need a tightly packed timeline.
You just need a considered one.
